   Stars And Stripes: The Story Of The American Flag is a picture book by Sarah L. Thomson retelling of American history and symbolism in terms of the role that the star-and-stripes banner which has played throughout more than two centuries in rallying hopes, ranging from the tale of the flag’s creation in the Revolutionary War, down to its message of endurance after the September 11th attacks.
