We love our own country faithfully! We always like to do various activities to express our patriotic feeling. Especially, on Flag Day, we will warmly celebrate such a patriotic festival. Well, how can we enjoy the day with your whole inspiration? Do you think about the activities for Flag Day?

1.  Collect flags of United States It is really a nice and wise way to commemorate the Flag Day. As we all know that, the American national flag has come through a course of changes. It was changed 27 times from 1777 to 1960. Each time of changing the pattern witnesses the reformation of our country.

2.  Show patriotic events on digital signage For companies, we can present events related with patriotism on the digital signage. By this way, people can learn more about the festival easily. How to make such a show? We can create and edit a patriotic presentation by PowerPoint and convert it to DVD. Now, we may need a tool to finish the last step. An easy-to-use and efficient software application – Acoolsoft PPT to DVD Pro is recommended.

3.  Make patriotic crafts Make all kinds of crafts to decorate our classrooms, houses, and offices. And you just need supplies: pieces of construction paper, scissors, markers or crayons, etc. Then we can easily make a craft such as a patriotic pinwheel, a patriotic plant pot, and a stick flag.

4.  Parade Organize people to parade in the street. With this activity, we may feel rather proud for our country and being as one of her member. The parade can be consisted of bands, squads, guards, pipe/drum units and civic and private floats, etc.

5.  Sing patriotic songs In this heart-stirring day, let’s sing patriotic songs to express our feeling and recall our motherland’s past rough days. For example, the song “You’re a Grand Old Flag” written by George M. Cohan, “You’re a high flying flag. And forever in peace may you wave. You’re the emblem of the land I love.” can mostly convey the aspiration of us.

6.  Make face paint Show our face with paint and make a big impression! It will be excited to show your patriotic behavior on your face. The method is to make your face with a little red, white and blue face paint which is not harmful to the sensitive skin and can be washed away easily with soap and water.

There are various events can be held in this special day. We may want to preserve our happiness on Flag Day and share with more people. And we may realize the idea as follows:

a.  Collect colorful scenes by taking photos and recording.

b.  Edit these Flag PowerPoint presentations and insert the happy images, videos, audio, etc.

c.  To make sure that most of people can conveniently share our happiness. It is recomanded to convert the PowerPoint presentation we made to video, and upload it to YouTube for more people to view it online. Furthermore, we can burn the PowerPoint to DVD and play the DVD with our families or friends, or even send them the DVD as gifts.

Let’s take actions to show our patriotic feelings on the Flag Day! It will be unforgetful in our lives.

Celebrate Texas Independence Day 2010 With Family And Films

On March 2, 1836, Texas severed ties with Mexico and became a free and independent republic. It was a short-lived country: a little less than 10 years later Texas joined the Union. As any Texan will tell you, though, that streak of independence still runs strong and deep through our second-largest state. And that’s something to celebrate wherever you find it.

Defining Success by Decentralized Democracy in Sierra Leone

The original plan for a post-Kabbah Sierra Leone called for rapid, transformational nation building. Such a vision has been slow coming but it now seems Koroma is listening and he is taking action to make his government work for the people more than ever before seen in Sierra Leone.
